My juicing spree continues for another week! Yes, I’m still eating regular meals each day, but I’ve been loving how all this fresh fruit and vegetable juice has been making me feel. So once again I bought huge bags of carrots, kale, spinach, and all sorts of other produce for juicing this week.
This juice recipe is a bit sweeter than the last, but it’s still crazy healthy for you. It’s especially packed with antioxidants from the beets and Vitamin C from the citrus fruit. Wait, did she just say BEETS?! YUCK! But no, really – beet juice is extremely good for you, and when combined with the right fruits it tastes great!
Even if all you use is half of one beet your juice will be RED, so be careful not to spill it! Beets do so many great things for you though, like lower blood pressure, fight inflammation, break down any toxins in your body (detox), and they have many anti-cancer properties. They’re known to improve energy levels and stamina as well, so for those who workout a lot beet juice can aid in recovery!
